I'm just sad that old format is gone... What this channel used to be and what it is now... No doubt that journalist is doing his job good but still the touch of owner himself is something was unique about Petrolicious... This is my 3rd video where I'm saying bring the old format back...

Maybe the video's just get too little views to make it worth the effort and they need to attract a broader audience? Channels like Hoovies Garage and Doug DeMuro achieve 10 times the views with what seems to be a fraction of the production value. I guess that Petrolicious is too much of a niche that only attract a more mature audience that appreciates the artistic value.

I'm pretty sure that this was always their format for the homologation series which they used to charge for. I think they are short on content right now which is why they are releasing them for free. At this point I don't think they have released their "own" video yet. Maybe a video detailing what direction they are headed would help clear everything up and keep everyone interested to see where this goes?

The old Petrolicious format had style in the way the owners described their cars and what it was like to own and drive. I have the Ferrari 512BBi Piece of Art, 250 GT Lusso Morning Ritual and Lamborghini Countach Outrageous videos bookmarked because the owners passion comes through in these videos. I watch them over and over again. This video doesn't stand out and I will not bookmark it even though it has a spectacular car.

This car raced on many championships, there you can watch it go fast, I never saw the MC12 being slide trough corners before, so it's a welcome new look for a collectors car who owners rarely drive, let even slide on racetracks.

I wonder what the meetings between the owner & the presenter were like, in terms of tone & balancing glory:risk. Chris Harris does have incredible finesse; This is hot-shoe's shown some guts (and trust), tossing that rig around... When I was a kid I was never into cars. Didn’t even notice any sports cars on the street or anything. In 2004 when I was in 4th grade, we used to have Scholastic book fairs at my school. I remember walking around checking out the books and I picked up a car magazine and I saw pictures of the MC12 and I was mind blown. I couldn’t believe a car like that existed and thought to myself how crazy it must be to take a ride in that car.

Yeah, I don't watch this channel to watch Top Gear or Throttle House, I watch this to see the story of the car and how the owner bonded with it. I want to know how the owner tweaked the car, how he restored it, how he won races with it, etc. If this video was presented by the owner and the MC-12 thrashed around by the owner himself, it would have been perhaps one of your best videos.

They do actully. The MC12 was using the latest production methods at the time, which is the standard of today. Even the V12 is still alive and well in the LaFerrari, and Ferrari 812, Ferrari FXX K. And as for the price, i think your correct(Though we could risk having petrol powered cars being outlawed in 30-40 years, which is undoubtly going to kill value).

Whilst this is a nice video, like others have said.. the old format was what set your automotive channel apart. The Ferrari GTO video with Derek Hill was absolutely wonderful.. With Derek talking you could feel his passion for the car.. Having owners tell their ‘own’ story was what made it for me.

A lot of other channels do car reviews like this better. People watch Petrolicious to hear how cool cars hold special places in people's lives. This MC12 is way cooler than a 1992 BMW 850CSi, but the video about the BMW is so much better because we get to hear how much the car means to the owner.

Beyond stunning shots as always, but please switch back to storytelling. Probably not the first one to say this, but this "Top Gear/car review presenter/etc" format has been done over a million times, and we all subscribed of the storytelling aspect that gave these cars such a human aspect over technical details.

My thing with this car was always the ridonculous front and rear overhang. There is SO MUCH car beyond the axles. It looks ungainly. At least the Enzo is snub at the rear and makes it look a little more taught.

I feel I just watched a 19 year old trying to drift his Nissan. Not Petrolicious testing one of the greatest cars of the modern era. Leave the hooning to Top Gear. Petrolicious was above this in the past.
