Sometimes it the connection on the jumper from the harness to the sensor. You might need a new one. Also the wires that go into the harness can be bad. Try mess with wires to see if you can get it come on.

Did you get a 180 degree thermostat, I have the same problem, but I did get a code for the ECT sensor.I will do a flush on and replace them, I think my heat isn't heating as good as it could also and I will be getting 180 degree thermostat, I think I got a 195 last year. Funny thing is , I got a flush done about 4-5 yrs ago and as soon as I got it back, it started overheating, so they wanted me to come back an do my thermostat for another $100. I said hell no I'll learn how to replace it myself, and it was easy

Picture sent and it started overheating again a month later I took it to the shop and they changed the cooling sensor by the AC compressor. It's still don't feel like I'm getting much heat out

@Rich Hill im having the exact same.issue, its the exact same issue all the same. Driver fan not working. It happened to me 3 days ago, driver fan not working, I checked fuses, switched them like you did and they were working. I turn on the AC and passenger fan turns on. But still driver fan not working.

So the cooling fan started working after you changed the temperature sensor? I thought that sensor was for your gauge only.

Was The temperature reading accurate also did you get a check engine light for your sensor

I did, I had a 420 also but I ran gumout and later cleared the code, haven't driven it alot,.so I will see if it comes back on.If it does I will try catyclean then this spring maybe.check the sensors and look into the cat if I can

I had the same issue. I tested relays. Fine. Checked fuses. Fine. Installed a new sensor. Fine. I tested the motors of the actual fans. Fine. The only thing i can think of is a wiring issue. Anything else im missing? I ended up throwing in a toggle switch, which i hate to do.

I did the same thing! What a pain man! Check engine light for it makes my auto start not work too. im so fed up with this problem I've been fighting it for 2 years

Jane Williams my passengers fan comes on when i turn my ac on and when I unplug the ect sensor, but my driver fan will not come on. I have unplugged the connector to the driver fan and applied power to it and it works so i know the motor works. And i have a check engine light on the code is p0480 I believe..
