My drivers window was stuck. Followed your video and instructions to the letter and it's now working again. Used silicone spray on the motor and mechanism. Thanks a million for posting.

Man you just saved me a trip of 120 miles to the Atlanta Saab dealership, a lot of money and time. It worked great. I noticed your motor's ele. connection had 6 connectors, this one had 2 and no circuit card. So before anyone orders one they should check the connection. It took me a little over an hour and to fix it, thanks again! used WD40 Hubert Dalton, Ga.

Excellent video. I see in alot of videos that these cars are very easy to work on. Especially if your a DIY person. (And I am) I just bought a 2003 linear 5 speed for $1.k but its rittled with little problems here and there and trust me, I dont mind... motor and transmission is strong and body is an 8.. interior immaculate. (I was lucky for the price) but the more I see these videos the better I feel. Thank you. This will go in my "saab videos" as refrence.

DIY Tinker > Have you swapped the window motor or regulator for the rear window in a convertible? I can't figure out if the motors are the same for the front and back. And, do I need to replace the entire regulator unit or can I replace just the motor? Thanks

I had this problem, hit the motor and it now works fine, but just in case, I swapped out the rear motor with the front. They are interchangeable and all is good.

Thanks, I have a 2004 Saab Linear and the drivers side window motor just stoped working this week, so I am going to try this. Great job with the video, do I just spray some WD40 into it ? Thanks again!

The gear into which the motor fits (which remained in the door after the motor was removed), did you lubricate any areas in/around that gear in case that was the cause of the window sticking? Thanks!

Hello. My question is, how can I remove the small plastic wheel, which hold the cables and connect to the motor(on the video 8:51)... is it fixed to the frame? or is it removable? I have a new one, but I do not know how can I remove it...and install the new one... Thanks for your answer
