Yep, same engine than the last Golf IV TDI. It's true this one is 50.000km younger, but the reactions and feelings of the engine are quite better.

this engine didn't have nozzle pump which is more reliable and less expensive repairs. PD was such a failure that VW group adopted common rail few years later.

Como se compara este Leon frente al Fiat Stilo que probaste refiriendonos al manejo en curva?

Pues para ser diesel y no enfocado a la deportividad, el tarado de suspensiones es bastante interesante, al igual que el tacto de dirección, frente a la eléctrica del Stilo y su suspensión más blanda.

Pensar que en europa son ya casi basura y en mi país piden 13 mil dólares americanos por estos autos y 15 por el Toledo, de la misma generación.

Bueno lo de basura es relativo, aun hay muchos supervivientes por sus buenas mecánicas y fiabilidad. La prueba sin duda es esta unidad! :)

Asi es, soy de Uruguay y no solo piden, si no que ni hay, hay 2 o 3. Lo mas parecido que te podes comprar y que tiene una mejor reventa es un golf mk4.

@@testdrivehero Bueno, si tiene una falla grande va al desguace, son descartables, aquí con lo que valen hay que repararlos, aún son valiosos. Mis tíos vivieron en Barcelona un tiempo y unos amigos le regalaron un Hyundai Lantra Wagon, que en aquel momento tenía menos años que este León, era 98 y ellos estaban allí en 2012, se lo regalaron por que necesitaba 4 neumáticos, hacerle los frenos y módulo ABS nuevo, por lo que valía el auto vs la reparación se le regalaron, y ellos compraron un auto nuevo financiado, mis tios aún tienen el Lantra, se lo trajeron a Uruguay cuando volvieron en 2017 y sigue andando ya casi con 300.000, tenía 120 mil en 2012. Aquí vale 4000 dólares si la vendieran hoy.
