Do you have any videos of how to make the manifold. Interested in learning and copying

Hey man, is it possible to install the turbo you have in a first gen Toyota Sequoia. They both have the same exact engine so i was wondering if its possible to put a turbo in my Toyota Sequoia first gen.

What do you think about rear mount turbo on a 2000 Toyota tundra
@jeffhardman222925 күн бұрын
@JohnnyBogdan It works, but it doesn't perform as well. Think of it this way: it takes longer for the exhaust to reach the turbo to spool it up, and just as long for the air to flow back to the throttle body. It still works; it's just not as efficient.

There's always the risk of blowing the motor so why not enjoy the car why you can. 😉

You still in Utah? I need to see your set-up, i would like to do some similar to it.
@jeffhardman22292 ай бұрын
@JohnGarcia-dx4gg yes, I recently took the turbo kit off to redesign it. After proving to myself that the engine can handle it I figured I'd make a better kit

How much boost? Ive always heard these rods in the 2uzfe were weak and could only handle 6-7psi. Ive got a 4.7 4runner and would love to add some power to it but doesnt seem worth it with the limited aftermarket and lack of tuning available.

Daily 7 psi tuned to handle 10 psi. I was going to push it harder but I built it for towing not for racing

@ImperatorCaesar22 the more boost you push the higher the risk of the motor blowing
@ImperatorCaesar225 ай бұрын
@@jeffhardman2229 Yeah I hear that trope about 5-6 PSI boost, or sometimes 7-8 psi max, etc on the internet, always varying, but then I’ll see someone run 8-10 PSI like in your case, which proves them wrong. How did you manage to tune it to safely run 10PSI? And what do you mean you daily 7psi - can you change the fuel map on the fly? I would love to learn how you did this. I’m thinking about supercharging but increasingly, it almost seems like a turbo would be cheaper. My only concern is there’s more lag
