Ah, the race where the 8 team literally went to the garage to fix the car when they were leading the points..

If this was today then he would of been done for the rest of the race for just going in once. Stupid rule by nascar.

If it's a mechanical failer you can go in and come out. If you were in a CRASH and go to the garage, then they give you a DNF.

It's insane how bad Jr. was in this race. It'd be like if Larson showed up with a 30th place car today. It just doesn't happen.
@auzzy8316 ай бұрын
Best you can do is Larson running 15th all day at Gateway.

These announcers were so clueless. Kenseth picks up one spot in the pits, and DW says his pit crew gained several spots. Mike Joy is talking and McMurray wiggled and Joy says that's the reason for Bush, Harvick , and Kenseth to take over spots 3-5. McMurray was in 12th. The racing was better but these announcers suck. DW tried to stick up for Mikey too much. Waltrip should have won a lot more races as he was in the same equipment as Dale, Jr

@@allenwhitmer8192 I don’t discount the mistakes you pointed out, but this was an era with a much busier broadcast. Lots of talking heads from pit reporters, to other analysts in the Hollywood hotel, etc. made a much more fast paced production. All 3 announcers spoke with urgency and intensity. I watch NASCAR every weekend and have my entire life, and I rarely feel like I’m watching the spectacle of American Motorsports anymore. But when I watched this, I just get sucked into it instantly. Feels like I’m watching a playoff game in the NFL or NBA.
