When using a resistor to “trick” the air bag, pick up some pins and solder them to the resistor ends. Then shrink tube over everything leaving just the pins exposed to plug into the yellow connector. Works great and no risk of creating a short and/or the resistor falling out of the yellow plug.

Did you need spacers to sit higher?

Great question! I didn’t need any kind of spacers as I’m around 6ft, so I actually liked the lower seating position it has compared to stock height. Aside from how you mount the seat to the brackets, I’m not sure of any way to significantly adjust the height.

Does the airbag still function as with the stock seats?

As long as the resistors are in, yes. This is because the resistors will basically trick the car into thinking the yellow airbag connector is plugged in still.

What's the weight of the seats compared to original

Rob S One Sparco seat weighs around 15.5lbs, so with the mounts, base and rails I’d say it’s around 20 pounds each. The stock WRX seats were pretty heavy at around 52-55lbs each!
