I just got my secondary air kit how do I take the plugs out and not mess the engine up when I blow air into the line

Hey Demond, in my video, between minute 4:30 and 5:30 I show removing the plugs, you will need to remove the coils first, they're fastened in place, no screws, once you unplug the power wires from them, use a 3/8s extension through the lever on top of the coil to help pull up and out from its position', and then remove the plugs.. once you've completed the procedure and blown out the ports, before reinstalling the plugs, I also went ahead and cranked over the motor, just to make sure all the cleaner was blown out, it will likely cause some codes to be set, due to the coils and other parts being disconnected, you just reset the computer and you're good to go once the job is completed.

What do you mean when you say you cranked over the engine do you do that after you blow compressed air in the clogged port and the spark plugs are back in or before you put the plugs in

@@demondkennedy2794 Yes, with plugs out, that way it won't get vapor locked, it will likely trigger some codes and check engine light, but once you get everything back together you just need to reset the computer, you should be good to go, provided cleaning was successful.

@@1stCrallyy with the coils and spark plugs removed, turn the key for a few seconds as if you're trying to start the engine, that is to help blow any excess fluid out of the motor to prevent a vapor lock..
