Now that i have a small family of my own, this corolla xrs is the best budget sports car to own. Saving for one currently. Celica gts are nice but its not suited for me right now.

Yes Corolla XRS really is what you are describing. Wouldn't call it a sports car but really a budget sporty car. You get all the thrill (and more) of a Civic Si but much more room and comfort, much lighter weight and just as reliable if not moreso.

Great idea for the red L on the engine cover. I did the same, just with the celica gts engine cover. Highly recommend switching to the celica cover, I think it looks much nicer. Also, where did you get free shipping from MWR?? I never get free shipping.. super annoying

Just ran across this video. Im looking into one about 2 hrs away from me. Its a red one 2005 with 170k miles. They are asking $4500 for it. Has coilovers with RPF1 rims which i don’t mind but has racing seats with a harness which im not a fan of. For $4500, do you think thats a good price ?

Hey there, that's a good price if the paint is good and the A/C works and there isn't a CEL and other type problems. That said I'd be weary if it has the mods you described...sounds like the owner likely drove it hard (racing seats? come on...) and I wouldn't want a car that had been abused. Hitting redline a few times a day like I do is one thing but if the car is driven hard all the time I'd steer clear.

Coming back to this. I bought one in late January. 2006, silver, 151k miles great condition. Currently has 156k miles, has been a great experience
