Not bad review, but O/D definitely isnt a sport mode. It just allows you to reach the cars highest gear, or "overdrive gear", made for highway use.

I’ve had my 2000 celica GTS for 1 year now with 170,000 miles and I love it manual is the way to go!

This is a good daily car for commuting. It's fun to drive and has great gas mileage. The backseats can be folded down to provide more storage space. Not comfortable for long road trips. Bring a lumbar pillow if you do.

herman taksrud yeah the manual is what this car truly should be. I have a 2002 GT auto and a 2003 GT manual. The difference is like night and day. The manual can be a sub 7 with bolt ons and weight reduction.

where did you get those mud flaps/splash guards for the celica? and i love the silver body paint with gun metal gray accents color combo, im planning on doing the same but with black accents on my celica :)

So between a RX8 Cosmo with less than 80.000km and a Toyota Celica GT-S with 112.000km which one would be a better vfm. I care more about looks and reliability as I'm a university student and my budget is near 6K.

Davis Braker I got mine 3 or 4 years ago and I paid over 10K. But for my area that was the lowest price I could find and the other Celicas on the market at the time were beat to death and had over 200,000 miles. So it's all about your area and all about the timing (whether or not it's a buyers or sellers market).

You're only going to do "teen vehicles"? So what does that mean, cars under 10k? In my opinion, you're limiting your channels substance and subjecting cars to be known as "teen vehicles". I know 3 people who are in their 40s that drive this car but like I said, just my opinion because I know it's just a name. The review itself is nice though & I notice you're a new channel.

I just figured it was a channel made by some teens to help other teens when choosing and picking a vehicle for their first car. Anything else, like subjecting such cars to being a young persons car is all on you. Either way, a Celica seems rather tiny.

Haha, we both can drive manual, Tate's current car is a '08 g35s manual. My Mercedes isn't a manual, but so few C350s were made with the 5mt that it would've been impossible to find one here. And we agree, the manual celica would have been a much more fun car.
