2006 - 2011 Honda Civic 1.8 engine removal quick tips

this video is just a bunch of quick tips on pulling the engine out of a manual transmission Honda civic. it's a little bit different than the auto it's going to take you longer. this is not a detailed how to remove it is just for people who know what they're doing to know what they're getting into if they've never pulled this engine. thanks for watching!

Thanks bro, I’m currently doing that right now. You took the power staring pump? Then pulled it out? I notice the started was still connected. You just took out the mounting bolts?

Sounds about right. It's easy to unbolt.

If you're doing the manual transmission you're going to have to unbolt the transmission as well because the shaft requires another couple inches of clearance

Thank you my friend. Also since you didn’t take out the axles from the trans, would I still have to drain the trans fluid? I’m at the separation part, going to tackle it this week.
