It definitely saves some money replacing just the clutch vs a whole new compressor and whatnot.

Thanks for making this video. However, that nonchalant “I’m gonna be selling the car anyways” is the precise reason I don’t purchase preowned vehicles anymore. People used to have integrity.

I meant that I didn't care if the AC worked since I wouldn't be driving it. I sold the car with that issue mentioned in the ad and I showed them when they bought it. I outline all problems when I sell a car.

Nice! Gonna have to do the same thing soon and was worried about how I was gonna fit a 3-jaw puller puller in there. Good to see that I might not need one

Thanks for this video. How do I know which compressor I have. Part stores are offering two part numbers: 1) CR-10 or 2) CSV511

Very useful video, had the same issue and this helped with the repair. Had to change the ac clutch fuse as well.

That noise sounds like the clutch isn't spaced correctly. Once heated up, it will start to contact the pulley surface and screech much louder.

It only made the noise when the clutch was engaged. If it was a spacing issue, it would have done it when the AC was off and clutch not engaged.
