Nice work, man. Sucks it was actually the thermal protector. Is the thermal protector easy to replace, and is there anything i need to know when i replace mine? (I've never had to replace one). Mechanic friend said it was bad and is a known problem on Hondas. I've got a 11 crv and it went bad around 70-80,000.😒

After doing spark plugs, leads and cleaning MAFS i found this video...My 2001 toyota aristo gte came up with an error code F001349 with the JOBD scanner, could find the code anywhere so i went with P1349. After 15 mins or so of driving the car would idle irratically, not a big loss of power but the engine light would turn on, vsc and when braking the car felt strange ..i swapped the sensor with my other lexus gs300 2jzge and cleaned the filter as you suggested..... the car runs perfect now👍 thanks bro...great video...easily saved me 2-400 hundread dollars i think...🎉

Ya, we recently purchased a used 2014 Ford Escape from a Ford Dealership. We've been driving it for a few months now and the transmission started slipping already. Only has around 50,000 miles or less. I went to check the transmission fluid and noticed there was no dip stick for the tranni fluid to measure. I went back to the Ford Dealership in Lansing and they told me that they would have to take the transmission out to replace the fluid. That they have to measure the fluid when its at a certain temp, etc.. and would be very expensive. I am so glad I found this video, THANK YOU!

I've performed the removal and it resolved my start issues. Looking to install the immobilizer bypass chip now because not sure if the brake lights issue I'm having now is related to removal or not, just want to remove it as a possibility and be able to read codes again. Need for 2001 Honda Accord. Did you ever install and if so where did you purchase from? Also does it come with pin connector bracket?

What type of gearbox does the gts25 come with? 71c small box or the big rb box?
@DIYAUTOCARАй бұрын
Mine was originally automatic and I converted it with the 71c transmission and GTST driveshaft. I'm pretty sure the factory manual versions also come with it. On the r32 they did not have the larger RB25 transmission.
@azutanАй бұрын
@@DIYAUTOCAR okay thank you. Debating on getting an rb25de or rb20det r32
@DIYAUTOCARАй бұрын
@@azutan depends how much work you want to do vs the cost savings. When I bought my car in 2019 the RB25de r32 was like half the price of an rb20det car. The easier route is to start with a turbo model but it will cost more.
@noel_21sАй бұрын
Is the oem RB25det turbo only water cooled? Or can you just run oil lines on both rb20det and 25det stock turbos? Asking because having to run water lines is a pain and I want to run a 25det turbo only with oil lines
@DIYAUTOCARАй бұрын
They both have water lines from the factory. I chose not to run the water lines and it has been fine. Obviously not ideal but I also did not want to run the water lines.

@@DIYAUTOCAR gotcha! So by not “ideal” running no water lines to the turbo won’t hurt the engine whatsoever correct?

I'm honestly not sure. With my issue it went away right after replacing it. You could go get the alternator tested at an auto parts store for free if you suspect that. They can do it without removing it from the car.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I recently ordered the same product from RYC and am waiting for it to arrive. Your post was very helpful, as I was curious about the difficulty of the installation process. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to share. It seems that buying a refurbished coil from RYC is a cost-effective solution compared to purchasing the whole unit new. I have searched for other options, but I couldn't find any. I also noticed another post on Amazon where the product was refurbished. After reading RYC's product description on their site, it shows as a refurbished unit. I hope that your replacement resolved the fuse issue, as my current coil is not engaging at all.
