dude, great presentation. just a little advice on jumping the pump. pin 85 is ground and 86 is positive. if you jump those pins, it will spark and hopefully blow a fuse. you want to send the power from 30 to 87 with a wire, that will turn the pump on.

My chrysler 300 decided to stall on me on the freeway. It cranks but wont start there is no fuel pressure. It has 2 new fuel pumps relay and fuses.Theres 2 codes that pop up on the OBD scanner P2068 P0463. If i were to check the computer for ground where and how can i check? Please ive had my car sitting for 3 months now and i cant afford a tow to the shop at the moment thanks

Your video gave me a lot of good information. My situation, I do not have power to the fuel pump with relay in place. Using the jump wire method, I do get power to the harness pump does not run. I have changed out relays with no success of getting power to the harness at fuel pump. So My concern or question. Might I have a computer issue? And a ground is not being sent to the relay. I or power being switched to the pump.? And or a bad pump also? Thanks

Thank you for creating the video, it is much appreciated. I've been working on a 2007 300C and found that I got 12 volts on the pair of wires you said was used for comms. The wire colours are blue/white and Black not the wires with the heavier insulation (Blue/Orange & Black/Orange). I found the 12 volts when the ignition was switched on so it has to be the power for the pump doesn't it? I got nothing on the heavier wires at all.Thanks.

I think the 12 volt switched I found on the pump plug was supplied to power an electric fuel gauge send. I just tried bypassing the relay and connected the positive of the 20 amp fuse through to the connection on the distribution board but still got nothing. Maybe something has happened to the wiring between the distribution board and the fuel pump connector. I am going to try connecting the fuel pump directly to the battery and see if the pump runs.

Does the wire trick prevent the fuel pump from being shutoff in the case of a collision? Im under the impression that the relay would be triggered and shut off power to the fuel pump if it detects a collision. Is this true, I have a 2006 Chrysler 300c

I had my fuel pump replaced. However, after starting my car it goes down .5 RPMs it feels like it's vibrating. There's also a ticking noise coming from my engine on the left front passenger side And the other symptom that seems to be present is my car steering feels stiff. Also, when starting my car it sometimes gets stuck and start. And lastly my shifter seems hard to shift. Would you say these are all coming things after installing a fuel pump? And if they are how do I put them back to normal

Can you help please? When I turn the key to off everything goes off apart from the engine. The only way to stop it is by removing the fuel pump fuse, but that only stops the engine, not all the electronics so I have a flat battery. Thanks Mark
