2006 Dodge Stratus Skim disable process

Hello everybody.. Today we are working on a 2006 Dodge Stratus that does not start because of a defective skim module.. Here is a short video showing how to remove skim function from ECM.. Ok. So in doing this, you MUST disconnect the skim unit, yes? Or it will just detect and assign a new code? This is my understanding. Removing the skim unit is preferred so it doesn't get plugged in again by mistake.... I've got a 2002 stratus and can not find the skim unit.

Yes skim must remain disconnected or removed.... If your car does not have a skim and is not starting someone may have installed a different pcm that has security enabled and looking for a skim... other no start issues could be bad ignition switch, starter relay, auto shutdown relay or bad neutral safety switch... In case of ECU locked due to missing/defective SKIM, would there be always DTC errors? I am getting "NO CRANK" on starter, and I would like to confirm that it is due to damaged SKIM.

If skim is damaged car will start maybe 5 times then it will no longer crank..

HP Tuners would have been a much better option. Does same thing and also does code suppression and immo off on gm also just to mention a few things.

Hp tuner is token based. You never stop paying.. This I flat out own and serves its purpose.. I have many tools Flex, Ioterminal, Autohex 2, ect,ect..
