To the people interested in purchasing this car with this engine (L13A7), the first thing to do is to replace all eight spark plugs, with the correct specification plugs (iridium). Many just change the ones that have an easy access. During the test drive, make sure the brakes are working normally, if not, and if the car feels extremely sluggish, the PCV valve is frequently overlooked and replacing it makes a huge difference! This is one of the reasons for higher than normal oil consumption as well. This valve is used in the Honda Jazz/Fit and is exactly the same parts number. Change the rubber gromet where the valve is fitted as well. Make sure you change the gearbox oil, gear change gets notchy and changing oil returns some much appreciated smoothness. Other than these things, there's water ingress through tail lights and roof rails, but a bit of diy will sort it out. It feels a bit underpowered with this engine, but gas mileage is great, I'm getting about +40mpg (5.7l/100kms). All in all, very reliable and cheap to run. I love mine!

I have one for a month now, 2008, 5d manual and its nice for daily driving, kms about the same as the one in the video, galaxy grey. Anything to expect in the future?

@@RedPanda_00806 yes it does, although it is a metal PCV valve and located elsewhere, if I'm not mistaken it's behind the valve cover, on the left side. It is a maintenance item and should be changed periodically.

@@cosminpesterau8467 The instrument cluster and radio/clock display have a tendency to develop some issues, but there's tons of diy tutorials on youtube. Water ingress is a known fault, gets in through structural holes in the roof rails and behind tail lights. These engines also need valve adjustment, (lots of search results with Honda Jazz/Fit with the same 1.4). Replacing the PCV valve is a must, solved a lot of issues on mine but that can be said for any other car.

This car looks like it is produced in 2012 or 2013. Honda was always few years ahead of other cars.
