Now the AC cannot turn off when the output air is too cold and possibly freezing up the evaporator core, this is the main purpose of the temp sensor and also prevent the operation of the AC System in the wintertime. Now the compressor will need to only rely on a LOW or HIGH pressure sensor to kill the compressor based on pressure only, getting too cold may be the only scenario but maybe the compressor will turn off and on rapidly in this scenario and the owner will complain so if this happens, you will need to give the estimate to go inside and do the job correctly next time. This temp sensor is not for AUTO AC, it's only an ON OFF switch based on the core getting too cold, when the core gets too cold, it takes some time to warm up to the limit of the temp switch. If the system LOW pressure gets too low then it will raise very quickly kicking the compressor off and on quickly, very similar to a low amount of gas in the system. Let's hope the compressor does not burn up from overuse?

The car was scrapped a few months after this video. I believe in the video I showed the car had a Rod knock. It was a used car lots beater car for picking up parts.

Yup the mercury Milan wiring diagram does not show a temp sensor, however the Lincoln version of this vehicle does show one😕😕
