Once it’s broken in. You will hit 60. That is amazing how you only have just over 100 miles. On it. I have one and love it. Just wish it had power steering.

I just bought one identical to this with 730 hours and 6200 miles for $2800 and it came with a plow as well. Thing runs perfect. Funny I noticed a little knock/tap sound at mid rpm and above and i can hear yours make the same sound in this video so it must be a 500 thing or the cvt system. I got mine from the original owner, guy was 77. It was kept in the garage and serviced just before i got it. Im hoping to get another 6000 miles out of it! I am a mechanic by trade so i can keep up on the maintenance and repairs.

@JP-tz3lt2 жыл бұрын
I have 2 of these one identical to yours. I got it last year with 600 miles, and a little over 100 hours. First thing that you are going to find, and I'll guarantee it happens soon, is the fuel sending unit is going to go out. Probably within the next 100 miles. Problem from sitting for so long. It will start and idle great until it gets to running temp, and then it will start running rough and idle bad. Dealer pump is nolonger available, and when it was, they wanted $700 for a new tank and sending unit. Quantum fuel systems sells a rebuild kit for $100. You will thank me later when your bike starts running rough and you don't have to spend hours and a ton of money to figure it out.
@rockspowersports2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the info. I actually already replaced the fuel pump in it. I got a good deal on it because it wasn’t running when I bought it It only had about 10psi fuel pressure.
@JP-tz3lt2 жыл бұрын
@Rocks Powersports good deal. 06 was the first year for EFI and it's pretty common. My pump came out looking brand new, but wouldn't hit the 39 psi needed as it started to get hot.
@rockspowersports2 жыл бұрын
@@JP-tz3lt Ya when I bought min they said there kids ran it out of fuel several times so I’m sure that’s what took the fuel pump out. Appearance looked fine on mine also.
@AWeezy7Ай бұрын
I have an 06, has no service codes, runs great until it gets good and warmed up, Then it starts to surge and will stall out if I quit giving it gas. Almost like it’s running out of gas but it’s not, someone said the gas tank could be getting hot/vent tube clogged But there’s no pressure released when I open cap. Sounds like it could be my fuel pump then?
@JP-tz3ltАй бұрын
@@AWeezy7 fuel pu.p is your issue, quantum fuel systems. Mine wouldn't throw any codes either.
