I had the same problem on my Hiace, that black gunk on the fan is what's left of a filter that sits under the cover with the single torx. It jams the fan and caused the problem. Cleaned the fan and made a new filter out of air filter foam, fixed. I'm a veteran bike mechanic and some bikes have a separate filter for the secondary air but most take filtered air from the airbox. By the way, cool video.

Interesting series. My SAI pipe is WELDED to the manifold. Toyota 2zz-ge. The bolt-on pipe make engine work so much more convenient. But then, not having this entire device on the system altogether would just be ideal.

Hello I have a 2006 tacoma 2.7 L 4 cyl. It it starts for a second than does. New battery new alternator doesnt fixit. No fuel filter available to public at least. Any thoughts?
