Perhaps a bit predictable after the big emotional win the week before, but this was still a frustrating loss. No one showed up in the first half. Avant's catch on third and long getting overturned, the furious rally to take the lead only to see it disappear in moments on a big play, and worst of all: giving up 3 third down conversions on the last drive of the game (including 1 by a completely avoidable penalty) that kept the defense on the field for over half the 4th quarter. At least the Saints were a good team that year, though. The game in Tampa the week after this was even worse.
