Hey bud I realize you made this video a few years ago but this past Xmas we got my niece an 02 Blaster that's got the same exhaust, in take, and reeds as yours plus a bunch of other after market parts. Where did you get the driving under 16 warning plates replacements that you have on yours. Are they 3D printed or CNC Aluminum? I've seen ones for 700 Raptors but even those were on eBay and not what we want. If you could get back to me with any info in regards to those replacement plates I'd supper appreciate it. You got a good looking bike that probably hauls a$$! Thanks man!

Hey thanks man ther is a more recent update on the quad if you would like to check it out, I made them actually I've made quite a few set over the years it's actually quite simple, cut out a piece of paper that fits perfectly in the plastic trim trace on to a piece of 1/8" aluminum sheet or I've done Dimond plate too, then cut that out and slowly shape with a file or die grinder to make everything sit in the trim, it does take some time but it's well worth it for the look then you can powder coat them like I did in this video or polish, paint ect...

Before I did the hi compression head and the lighter flywheel I was able to hit around 64 mph on stock sprockets

Yeah the one we have will crack high 50's, 58-59mph but that was with an app on my phone and I'm not sure how accurate it is. I bought a 2022 Honda 520 Rubicon and it has a speedometer on it that has a governor that cuts out at 49mph and it blows the fenders off it so I'd say its pretty close.

I thought that they would have work nice and they were just cheap to try they were actually terrible I removed them I'm currently only running the stock shocks until I can afford my entire Elka suspension setup

Ok i know this video 4 years old but I just purchased my first yamaha blaster what should I do to it as service took it to a neighbor and said right wheel look a lil dent or something like that can that be the shocks need replaced I'm a newbie on this hopefully you can help

Nice quad but why waste over 4K on how it looks and not into the engine? Also you are lean as fuck, don’t take my word for it. Plug chop, look on forms idk. But as it stands you got half season before she blows. But still gorgeous blaster.

It was running low on fuel in this video barely any in the carb that's the chop you are hearing, top end has 40 hard hours on it and still going strong check out my more updated video

Those shocks have since been removed they were too long too stiff and overall just not a very good quality you are correct I'm currently just using the stock suspension but hopefully within the next year or so I can upgrade all three shocks to Elka suspension

Wind fins, helps direct air across the fins on the cylinder and head, you can find them online but they are tricky to find now, I got them on ebay

It definitely won't keep up with a banshee on top end but bottom and mid I believe so, because it is a lot lighter and more nimble

The front shocks are not the right ones for this 4-wheeler they are way too stiff and provide no suspension upgrade they are standard flat faced lug nuts from eBay

I'm currently back on Stock front suspension those shocks were way too stiff even adjusted the whole way out I'm soon upgrading to Elka suspension, the air fins you can get on Ebay I believe they are either cfm performance or prm atv

Jon Doe do not buy those shocks they are very weak and deadly I’ve seen ALOT of people posting those in FB groups where they have destroyed from barely doing a jumping or snapping into causing people to crash, I was going to buy a set but a list of people opened my eyes from pictures of what will happened. The shocks are garbage don't waste your time with them I learned the hard way a good majority of blaster components fit all year blasters but there are some subtle differences between the 1st gen and second gen

One question why would you spend 4600 on a blaster why not get a 4 stroke but if you don't like 4 strokes mabye consider getting a banshee or trx 250r

I want a banshee but it's hard to fide a 06 in good shape for under $3500 I only ride Yamaha and I like 2 strokes so a blaster is really the only option plus I like that its slightly smaller than a full size quad so it corners and handles really good
