It took us about to hours to do this job with filming this video. It is not that hard of a job on this year make and model Jeep. 4 hours is a stretch. ask them if that includes lunchtime...lol

Maybe theyre saying 4 hours because of the rtv for the lower pan. Ou have to letit dry some before you add any kind of liquid or it'll leak.

Those little studs to hold the oil pan gasket in place came with the new gasket. There should be a link to it in the description of this video.

Why not secure the lower pan to the intermediate pan while it was on the bench? That would have saved a lot of time and aggravation would it not? I work on fords so just pure curiousity

So there’s no worries about what grease and poly that squeezed to the inside of the pan?

Good point. Grease I assume would be fine. Whatever used would need to assimilate well with oil. One wouldn't want small pieces to break off and clog the filter.

What is the urethane product you used on the lower?

It was a sealer Steve had, You should be able to use the high temp black RTV gasket maker
