That open spot at the front of the console is a great place to lay your pistol when you get in the truck.

That console is the ltz trim level console. Thats why that hole is there for future reference for that model truck you'll need the lt2 console. It's made for that truck and fits flush right against that

Jonathan Hermosillo I sure wish I had it ! I swapped it in an older cat eye Silverado then sold it ! They are kinda hard to find . But you’ll find one eventually ! Sorry bud

If you want a console without the gap at the front, get one out of a Silverado LT. The one in this video is from a Sierra Denali or Silverado LTZ with the upgraded dash.

My 12 Sierra has the stupid manual 4wd stick or else I would love to put one of these in. My console bucket doesnt have a lid which is the stupidest shit ever cause you have to empty the bucket if you wanna flip the seat up -_-. Do you know if all the consoles mount the same?

You can fabricate a new lever, I seen one done on some nnbs forums. the manual lever is much more reliable than the electronic ones on the higher trim levels.

Buy a new jump seat like the one he took out!

How did you remove the back tab of the center console? Can’t get it off

I just put a small screwdriver in the rear of the console, then I used a bigger flat blade to pull the clips off. It just uses 4 clips to snap in.

I’m sure you can make it work but you’ll have to take the center cup holder off every time you need to switch it from 2wd to 4wd but it can be done my buddy had that same problem and he trimmed the left side where the 4x4 shifter is so I can be flush
