Στο εργοστασιακό εγχειρίδιο της Toyota (Owner's manual) αλλά και της κάθε εταιρίας περιγράφονται απλές εργασίες συντήρησης που μπορεί να κάνει κάποιος (π.χ. να αλλάξει μια ασφάλεια, μια λάμπα, τον τροχό, κλπ.). Τώρα εάν κάποιος θέλει να κάνει πολύ πιο προχωρημένα πράγματα (μιλάω για επισκευές και αλλαγές εξαρτημάτων) τότε θα πρέπει να αγοράσει αντίστοιχο τεχνικό εγχειρίδιο είτε σε έντυπη είτε σε ηλεκτρονική μορφή. Εγώ πάντως βρήκα για το Corolla μου (δεν υπάρχει στην ελληνική γλώσσα) ηλεκτρονικό manual από το διαδίκτυο. Για το δικό σου αυτοκίνητο (Auris 1,4 d4d 2007) έψαξα, όπως μου ζήτησες, για αρκετή ώρα στο διαδίκτυο αλλά δυστυχώς δεν βρήκα! Οι περισσότεροι ιδιοκτήτες αυτοκινήτων χάνουν τα manual ή τα έχουν σε κακή (κατεστραμμένη) κατάσταση.

REMOVE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM LH Remove the 2 bolts, nut, and front lower suspension arm LH from the front suspension crossmember. CAUTION: Because the nut has its own stopper, do not turn the nut. While securing the nut, loosen bolt.

Here are the most common symptoms of bad control arm bushings and ball joints: 1. Clunking Noise Specifically coming from the control arm and usually following a bump, braking, or a hard turn. 2. Steering Wander Pulling to the left or right without input from the steering wheel. 3. Un-Even Tire Wear Wear on the inside or outside edge of the tire or other unusual wear patterns. 4. Vibration Excessive vibration felt mostly in the steering wheel as the insecure wheels rapidly wobble.

What causes a anti-roll bar to break? Bushings, such as stabilizer bar bushings and control arm bushings, act as cushions between metal components in your vehicle's suspension system. Here are some of the most common telltale signs that the control arm is bent: 1. Vehicle pulling to the side. 2. Tire sitting at and unusual angle. 3. Accelerated wear on either edge of the tire. 4. Loose steering. 5. Clunking noise in the steering area.

Question: Can't you lift the transmission a bit with a jack so that there is more free space to remove this bolt?

@@YiannisPagonis yes. I ended up just taking the 4 bolts out of the upper mount on the left. That alone gave me just enough to clear the bolt. Ill do the right later but its not as bad as the left was.

@@ede015 Sticking or binding components, such as a king pin, ball joint, bell crank or even the steering column can prevent the steering wheel from returning to center after a turn. A bad alignment can also be a factor. Improper caster, and to some degree, improper toe-in, can be contributing factors.
