I have the exact same eliminator pipe, 3inch from play time auto :D, however i got it welded properly where the clamp connects the 2 pieces as I was getting exhaust leaks, Absolutely love the noise and BOV sound it makes "tsssssyooooo" hahah, best mod you can do for fun :D

Did yours make the dosing sound as soon as you installed the straight through? I have the 3” cat no hotdog and it isn’t dosing at all from playtime

It’s cause it’s 3inch from the turbo. Need to get it reduced to 2.5 inch turbo elbow to make dose. Also 3inch elbow can cause over boosting

Jose Santos it’s just the back pressure from the cat, there won’t be any blow of valve, that’s why it makes that sound

That's the turbo bark you hear. My 6.6 duramax sounds the same when I let off the pedal, but on mine it's much louder! I have a 5in strait pipe, and im tuned. Got all the emissions stuff outta there. Now im getting 18-20mpgs while pushing 650hp - 1010 tq

Beenus depends. If it’s the older one it should be fine, but if it’s a n80 you can’t cause of the DPF

2.5” is pretty loud and has a nice whistle. I think if you’re after a tiny bit more of all the exhaust sounds go for the 3”
