2007 international 4300 EGR Cooler Fix (part 2)

I have a 2007 international 4300 dt466 and I’m doing the EGR Cooler. It’s never been replaced and them manifold bolts was on there. 125 foot lbs of torque to break them loose. Insane right. Hope you enjoy and god bless

Signs of a bad EGR cooler

My antifreeze is disappearing have to add gallon every week checked oil and transmission fluid and not mixing so guessing it’s egr cooler anybody any advice??

More than likely it’s burning out the EGR. Any smoke come out the exhaust?

I have the exact same truck 2007 why is my EGR cooler square and looks longer than yours?

It might of already been replaced before. Or could be a different design.

What are the common signs of Egr valve bad I have no Leaks( antifreeze) Also no white smoke out of exhaust but low on antifreeze Nothing in oil different colors

Low power is usually how it starts. Then as you drive it , it will get worse. Did it just start?

Yes Every time I step on the gas the engine light comes on It drives fine but every morning I’m low 1 gallon of antifreeze I do see black in my antifreeze tank

It started after I got my valve kits fixed front ones Was a bad leak After that my truck started losing antifreeze
