yea i wound up doing the h-pipe because my cats were bad.... and got the cold air intake and tuner on special for 499... it already had mbrp cross-over back... other than noise level cant say as it made any difference at all

Half of that is more so for sound, not performance. All the performance gains came from moving up to a 93 tune.

Broke a bolt on the headers on my 2006 V6 when switching to dual, welded a bolt to the part that broke and worked like a charm. The BBK true dual conversion kit and Magnaflow Magnapacks from you guys are awesome!

2006 Ford Mustang Gt convertible. All of my parts have been ordered from American Muscle. Here's were I'm at with my pony. Procharger supercharger, Ford racing 62lbs fuel injectors, Ford racing intake manifold and 62mm throttle body along with Flowmaster outlaw cat back exhaust. Next up, Ford racing camshafts, exhaust manifold and x-pipe.....and desperately need someone in the Toledo area to dyno tune.

I have a 04 mustang GT and was saving money to do my modifications but when I started calculating the cost I saw I cannot get 300 hp so I took 6000 I had saved and bought a 14 Mustang GT 5.0 with a 6 speed and i am happy as hell now I enjoy both cars with with what they can produce the 5.0 can fly 420 hp and the 4.sick I enjoy it too

Hey Enrique, the windows weren't totally black, they only had some tint on them. The point of the window covers is to completely black out the windows and just add an aggressive matte black finish to the car, which really goes well with the Red in my opinion! Are you looking to get a pair?? - Matt

I kind of expected more. My 07 has only has High Flow Cats, flowmaster mufflers, K&N intake, and a BAMA tune, and it's putting down 287 horse and 310 torque. .

LincolnLSEV8 Nice numbers! Is your car manual or automatic? Auto's tend to lose a little more power through drivetrain loss. Also the dyno is nothing more than a tuning tool- weather conditions, dyno type, etc will all affect final numbers. Hope this helps! -Justin

@Vladimir Usoyan could be a swap. Or they removed the badges. You can buy any of the badges so I suppose if you wanted you could rebadge it a v6 for sleeper status. I do see cars from time to time that have all the signs of a GT but have no GT badging.

Adjustable panhard bar? I think it's more than a bit irresponsible to not at least recommend it in a vid like this. Her car's rear is now off center with the stock pan hard bar pushing it out to one side. I'm not saying go full watts link system but an asjustable panhard bar is a low cost must have in this case.

Under 300hp on the dyno wow idk but I feel like I'm being lied to on mine then.. I have almost the same mods and the dyno shop said I was pushing 340 to the crank and 310 rwhp I have full exhaust ford racing headers wms ram air set up and super snake ram air functional hood gt500 stock throttle.. body..American muscle what yall think

Oscar Mendoza 310 is definitely possible. Keep in mind that this is an automatic and we use SAE correction. If you look on your dyno results for correction factor, it may be using Standard (STD) correction which reads a little higher as well. Your numbers are definitely in line. We see just around 300RWHP on 93 octane with 05-10 GT's with those mods using SAE correction on a dynojet. In this case, the automatic is going to read about another 3-5% lower (about 10-15 horsepower). -Chris

Oscar Mendoza Torque is tough to add by itself. The more free-flowing your intake manifold and headers, the less torque and more top-end horsepower you make. If you're looking for some grunt to get out of the hole quicker, maybe an aluminum driveshaft or gears? Even though it won't add torque, the car will feel so much better low-end. -Chris

I know this was 3 years ago but I have a question. Do you have any tuner programs for a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis. I already have dual exhaust and I’m looking to upgrade to a cold air intake and a tune. Possible a throttle body. I’m aiming for a Marauder type build since I’ve recently painted my car black. They have some options for parts which you input your year and they are the same basic suspension setup but a 10-14 car has some updates you don't see in the 05-09 not sure what plus the 11-14 has a track package option

Ford made a mistake when they did not put a 5.0 inside the 99-04 mustang GT they would have sold a lot more of them some people went to other cars because they put a Toyota engine in the mustang GT

dabulldog8 Hey man! Congrats on the purchase and I'm glad that you are ready to mod. Personally, I always start my cars out the same way... Intake, tune, full exhaust, and then suspension. If I were you, I would pick out a great CAI like the JLT or Airiad, an awesome tuner like the SCT X4 with Bama tunes, and then do a full exhaust setup from the headers back. In regards to a loud exhaust with no drone, my personal favorite is Corsa. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions! -Will

Hey Keith, believe me man I was a little hesitant at first about using clamps on an exhaust, but I honestly have never had any issues. I installed a Flowmaster exhaust on my 06 Mustang 3 years ago, and it has been nothing but excellent and I have never had any issues with the clamps. It is still nice and snug every time I get under my car. But hey, I can totally see your worry as well! Also, in regards to your Grabber Blue question, in those years of 05-09 Ford, did not produce any Grabber Blue Mustangs, but you will see some time to time, with that custom paint job. In year 2010, was when Ford began the production of the Grabber Blue color, which I absolutely love. - Matt
