All black, modern wheels (black and chrome to match with the chrome around the windows and front grill), and an all round black tint... It looks really good and holds up greatly for its age The 3.5L V6 is incredibly fast, and gives you that confidence of going past almost any car on the road with a very responsive acceleration time. It drives and handles like a dream, and unlike the 2.4L VVTI, it doesn't burn oil I've only had to go for an oil change once, and the next oil change should be after I put a little over 2k miles more on it. Not a single repair done since I bought my camry and I'm confident I won't be needing to go for any repairs anytime soon No kidding, I think every home should have at least one camry V6 sitting in their garage, I promise you can't go wrong with these bad boys

After only owning this car for a good month and a half (which was originally owned by my sister (only had 150000 miles and seemed to run smoothly, it does burn oil fairly fast) That was the main issue, my father would tell me to refill and check every 2 weeks, which is what I did! After the month and a half period, the motor ends up developing a rod knock instantly and dies all in one day. All I can say is, from a design perspective, it's a beautiful car. But it requires high maintenance when it comes to oil, I consistently refilled it every 1 and a half to 2 weeks. Had to return to my 2002 Toyota Camry, holds up on oil for a long period, and has 250000 miles on it and runs great. My father is narcissistic and made it out to be my fault and bashed me. He's the type of person that when you bring up a concern he will be like "what did you do this time?" And that's why I'm going to mechanics school so I can beat him at his own game and 1up him. I'm just sick of the treatment he slaps in my face when I bring up a potential problem or issue. I own my first ever apartment with my fiance, make music, a certified nutritionist, and all that man can do is only is bash and only bring up the negative in the things I do. Only a few times in my life will that man ever tell me that he's proud of me lol.

I have one of these at nearly 275k miles, and it's still going strong. We recently had to repair the AC, which hurt our wallets, but nothing too crazy. That said, I'm a somewhat vigorous driver, and I hate it. The steering and handling feel mushy to me. I much prefer to drive my '98 Accord V6 - not because of the extra 42 bhp (though that doesn't hurt), but because Honda's steering gives me more confidence in the corners. Also, the volume knob on the Camry's center console is all but meaningless. I use the buttons on the steering wheel exclusively because of the vast difference in precision. This car is perfect for me brother-in-law, who would give up driving if he could. If you want to get any enjoyment whatsoever from the driving experience, though, look somewhere. You can find a car that's very nearly as reliable but still rewards enthusiastic driving more than this one.

if you look at the generations after this one (i think this ones the XV40) espiecally the xv50, the lines aren't as smooth as this one the design on this 07 holds up better in my opinion

Cockroach of cars? I had one…. Customized the heck out of it lol lots of aftermarket goodies for that car. Really good on gas too! Really couldn’t complain at all about the car

My 2007 Camry was a real oil burner. Toyota said it wasn't bad enough (which it was) and refused to fix it. Had to install a used engine from Japan. Other problem is the dashboard that is sticky & gross. Apparently Toyota would fix for 10 years but never told anyone. Outrageous. I'll end up using a dash cover. I'm the original owner. 231K miles now. Just had to do $2K suspension work on the front end.

I really wanted one of these as a daily but learned about the oil burning issue and can’t get myself to consider one now. It’s a shame. The accords of the same year have problems of their own and suck on gas, fusions and Malibu’s had bad engines or transmissions, there’s just not a great well rounded sedan from this era without an achilles heal. Shooting for a Mazda 3 hatch now, but can’t find any in the spec I want (sunroof, tan leather heated seats, 2.0 instead of 2.5) looking for a used modern daily on the cheap is tougher than it should be now adays

I mean, that’s the nature of buying a used car. Oil burning issues aren’t bad compared to a bad engine or transmission

Get this one. The Sentra has a not so great CVT, and I'm pretty sure manual transmission examples are hard to find.

I've had Toyota/Lexus products for the last 9 years and all but one were boring to drive. Aside from some initial quality issues in my 2014 Lexus IS 250, they've all been remarkably reliable. I won't be first to the finish line, but I won't have to stop for gas or maintenance while I'm getting there.
