For a 2013 Chevy Malibu, would I need to use the same software, ACDelco TDS? what about the OBD2 connector for programming, will an amazon unit work or does it have to have a certain compatibility to work with the software?

I have been told by GM dealer that my ebcm is bad and not available for 2010 equinox, so anti lock, brake, and traction control lights are on. Is it possible to access the cars computer and reprogram to delete antilock brakes and traction control?

Did you ever find a new one. I needed one for my 2011 buick lacrosse and it was on back order but recently seen thry have them in stock at Rock auto. I did use a used one last March and programmed it but the immobilizer code dtc was set in it because it was used. I never disconnected my batter during the swap and im told thats the reason I was able to use the used ebcm because the bcm never reset because power wasnt lost. I recently bought a new ebcm on rockauto and will be installing it soon and programming it with GM SPS like this video. Im just wondering since the new one it a virgin new module if I need a security code or anything pryor to starting the programming to complete it. What was your conclusion? Did you use a new one? Was programming successful with the immobilizer identifier? Please tell me any issues you ran into. Thanks

Hey I got a abs problem on a used car I bought the the first 5 numbers on the ABS module don't match with the abs computer box but the second 5 number match (I have a 1997 toyota raum)

I have chevy equinox 2013 same problem is module abs is bad they been spending time two days what is going on my car they can’t take out the light comes on abs and break and tcs . I went the mechanic local her Palmbay Florida is name MIDAS car shop it was truly amazing they took my car dealership Chevy he’s spending time with them and find out the equinox was the module abs is bad but my question is he used the use module to replace it my car😂is that ok ? I was thought they scam me the local car shop but truly sounds like he’s telling me what’s wrong my car. I saw this video and I’m Going to show him if this what happens to o My car the equinox,. Reset everything delete all codes and see if it comes back, then go from there.

That code seems to be related with your key fob security feature. Did you recently change keys? Your abs module should play role in that error code.

@@co7366 no I didn’t changed my key fob that was mine genuine keys which I get from Chevy while purchasing as I saw an foreigner video he also replaced the ABS module with used one in another Chevrolet vehicle and he also getting this code after replacing and then he did some programming on it with the help of his laptop and then he said in that video GM restricted to replace anything and of we want to replace we had to program it well … because every module has his unique code and operated with VIN number and if it received anything replaced they send this CODE B3902-00 in scanner ..
