@@napsxoxo that's ridiculous....you will definitely save your self some money and frustration...good luck!!..I paid 900 for the shocks after I did this video because my wife didn't like the aftermarket ride. Install is about and hour for both

great video man, what do you think about switching and deleting the z55 style and going to liquid-filled shocks? watching your video makes me think it's not so hard, my 2011 Suburban LTZ has a bad compressor and blown out shocks just like yours was. have these less expensive shocks and pump held up for you over the last 2 years? thanks
@wedoitall76762 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response. It not hard at all. You just have to get the adapters to turn on the light on the dash. Everything else if the same
@calvincaltechwhitfield25454 жыл бұрын
I replaced the compressor and the rear shocks and the compressor will not power on. I checked the fuses and they are good I pulled the relay under the hood and tested it and it clicks. I applied power to the relay connector and the compressor turns on. What is preventing the compressor from powering up on start up?

Thanks. Wish I had know about the arnott suncore shocks. I ordered OEM ac delco on Amazon it was much more money.
@FBIsurveillance623 жыл бұрын
Actually my friend you made the right choice you purchased a brand new OEM shock all Arnett shocks and any other rebuilt shock they do not rebuild the internal shocks cylinders from what I was told They only rebuild the external of the shock ,airbag ,paint and replace bushings if needed I have a 2007 GMC Dinali I literally just replace the shocks and the compressor with oem parts it was expensive but I did shop around rock out it was what is the cheapest at the time man what a difference thank you so much for making this video as well it really helped me through the replacement process

Would you happen to have part numbers for these
@RockofAgesTheBand3 жыл бұрын
I put a set of Arnotts on the back of my 75th anniversary Suburban along with a new compressor and even tough they air up and hold air now the ride is ridiculous!. the smallest bump or dip and it bounces for an eighth of a mile before settling down lol.
@wedoitall76763 жыл бұрын
Mine did the same. I ended up going with a factory set. I had to bite the bullet.
@Patriot1683 жыл бұрын

Since it's been a few years since you made this, how have the shocks been? Still good or would you need to get a better shock at all? Thanks for the video, im about to change out mine.

Sorry for the late response...they have been outstanding. I have no complaints!!
@doubleya2154 жыл бұрын
Appreciate the video man! How have them shocks held up for you? I'm about to order some this week and I'm not trying to pay oem prices, that robbery.
@wedoitall76764 жыл бұрын
They are not bad but the ride is definitely a little harsher than OEM....i tool it to the dealership and they said something about the magnetized fluid inside being different causing a driver ride...im good though..used to it now..
@doubleya2154 жыл бұрын
@@wedoitall7676 alright man I'd be ok with that as long as they don't blow out real quick. I was looking at the Arnott setups too little pricier but less than oem

Is that air pump that was taken out on both side. One per shock is what I mean

Just the one on the driver side...it runs both shocks
@luigi4549 Жыл бұрын
Why does yours have the springs if it’s air ride?
@wedoitall7676 Жыл бұрын
The springs are part of the system. They assist the air shock for a smoother ride

So it could be the regulator,my compressor ain't doing nothing
@wedoitall76764 жыл бұрын
Theres a relay under the hood that could be the culprit but the compressor should still try to work if its.good...even with a bad regulator
