Reggie Wayne in 2012 must of been thinking about this game where he had 1 catch....because in that meeting against green bay he had 13 catches over 200 yds and 3 TDs talk about a competitor

He had an arm that rivaled Favre's, what an awful take. Jennings said they called Rodgers the jugs machine when he sat behind Favre, implying they were neck and neck. Favre might have had the tiniest of edges in terms of pure throw power, but not by much.

@tempest200003 жыл бұрын
I honestly feel the loss of him in 2011 sent the Packers down the path they’re on. I feel he was the key to making that Dom Capers defense work. Without, they constantly got beaten deep. If he was still on the team, he probably would be a multiple time All-Pro and Pro-Bowler. Could have been a HoFer.
@johnselwitz53623 жыл бұрын
You could see the potential that the Packers had in 2008. They were a good team with a lot of great, young players, they just didn’t win a lot of games that year. Lost 7 games by 4 points or less, 2 in overtime.

@Tony Preston I know, right? It was a pretty fun season even though the record wasn't great. I'm not sure, but I think there might have been just one game where they lost by more than one score in 2008. It was a Monday Night game against the Saints in the Superdome. I remember Flynn getting in the game late in the 4th quarter. It was a shootout that got out of hand in the Saints favor in the 2nd half.

A much more memorable game took place in Arlington, Texas, at AT&T Stadium between Tony Romo and Peyton Manning. The two quarterbacks combined to throw nine touchdown passes and 920 yards through the air. It was also the first game that Manning threw an interception all season, and it ended with more drama as Romo threw a game-ending interception with a little over two minutes left in regulation. This back-and-forth contest should never be overlooked, especially since everyone had Denver as a 21-point favorite. What a remarkable performance by those two teams. I forgot to mention that there was a combined 99 points scored as well.
