What made you use Locktite 243 Threadlocker on your vent cover? Won't that give trouble of you need to remove it if,say, the clutch plates need replacing?

I'm ready to install mine but I fling that Its 5nm torque for the springs, about 3.7 lb. Good video, I habe the same product. Have you had any issues with that brand?
@brotheus63107 жыл бұрын
steve ricci no good brand. I just picked up stainless steel clutch springs from speedymoto. The factory springs rust really bad. I torque mine down to 5ftlbs

Hi Brotheus. My bike when I bought it, when I hold the lever, the clutch used to move out and sound different exactly like yours. But now, i hold the lever, the clutch still move out little bit but it dont change the sound. So i start the bike in neutral, hold the lever to go to 1st gear. Then the bike stop rt away. Do you what problem is that?

Bleed the clutch fluid it likely has water and is burnt causing it to not fully disengage. Side note when you put it in first gear is the kick stand up?

Is the pressure plate ok just the spring's are junk?
@brotheus63107 жыл бұрын
steve ricci the factory springs function just fine rust builds on them since they aren't protected from corrosion and looks ugly after a couple washes.
@brotheus63107 жыл бұрын
steve ricci pressure plate is solid. I replaced the bearing with the factory bearing since they installed a cheap bearing that ended up oozing grease after a couple rides.
