The oil change interval can vary on use but the general interval for my oil change is 7000 miles. As far as maintaining your truck, that's an independent question. I'm a member of some 6.4 groups on Facebook. They are excellent sources of information. Your question has probably been answered multiple times. Try looking there, they are very helpful.

Have you ever had a problem with this truck shutting off when hot. Or any idea what would cause that? I know it needs a new fan clutch but that's not the main reason but definitely would help with the cooling down process.
