Great tutorial video. It did not matter that you used a reverse camera display. It was all helpful and I am glad you shared. The only thing I forgot was to prepare for the transmission fluid that drips out when you remove the transmission fluid box. Knowing what sockets was extremely helpful in preparing my tools. I rate it A+. Thanks

Glad it help you some reason when I record with the rear camera it flips the image but it's still the same no matter what

*Disclaimer* The vid is mirrored so the layout is flipped. The video is very informative and will save you time along with the headaches. Car repair bits for these are hard to come by. The Haynes manual for this gen sucks. The service manual by Ford is the one you want.

Thanks yea i didnt realize re ording with the rear camera makes it mirror ...throw thaT Haynes manual away...ford way is ok but their is a quicker way around ford way less removal of parts ..

Oh thank god. I was wondering why it looked completely wrong. Hadn't looked under the hood yet, so I was wondering how there were videos of the same model and year with completely different configurations. >.

Thank you for that demo to change the Thermostat. I've seen the other guys do it the hard way. What do you do for the gasket just put it on or do you put some kind of gasket sealer on? Thanks again, James North Carolina USA

Was there a rubber o-ring on your power steering sensor when you unplugged it? I found a o ring in the drain bucket. Trying to figure out what it came off of.

Yes their is a small black o ring

Does anyone know if the OEM 08 focus has a sensor? I owned this vehicle from New just his 180k and the thermostat finally stopped working. I would like to buy the thermostat before taking it apart as I have to order online. Autozone charging $100 for a $20 part same brand lol

You can look donw inbetweent the powersteering rack and manifold should allow you to see it..or other easy way is call the parts department at the dealership give them your vin. Number and they can say if ot have a sensor or not​@jamesnicholas8652

@@platnumvi5057 Doesn't matter to me. I've been in auto repair for over 39 years and own an auto dealership and repair shop. I'm telling you because any one that comments is going to be all about not looking like their car under the hood, or telling you it's backwards because it is. Every time I do an auto repair I look at videos that specific repair just to pick out what is wrong with the way they are trying to show other people. That is why.

@@milwaukeebiker it's all kool been doing this over 25 years.. work for my self .. I'm just saying even if the video is mirror it's still the same process to get the work done at the end of day ..unless somebody has an engine swap and engine looks totally diffrent

How is that the design have not been change in many years..unless u got a motor from an escape in their which is a slight diffrence but close enuff

The video is backwards, a mirror image. The serpentine belt and accessories are on the wrong side of the engine compartment is the biggest clue.

How would you get confuse?.. doesn't matter if the engine is on the opposite side same process...and if you think about it it was film using the front camera view so that's y it did that..and I dint realize until I review it

Wrong if the system is empty or low y would u drain it? You do what you need to do at thaT time
