good vid bro. i recently did that same mount n i was able to fit a 15mm in to loosen up them nuts on the bracket b4 i loosend up the lower nuts. it was little tricky but it worked.

With Hydraulic mounts you need a cover to protect the rubber from oil..I made covers out of a gallon oil jug & cut about 2 inches from the bottom make 2 holes for the bolts ..its already a oval & oil won't degrade it since its a oil container

It was a whining noise... check your trans oil may be low causing hard shift

01 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. I had a real bad vibration under acceleration. My front mount was real bad. I replaced the front mount, got rid of 95 % of my vibration under acceleration. I still have a slight vibration under acceleration. Should I flip my dog bone bushings, or replace the transmission mount, or both? But some comments said that if you flip the bushings in the top torque struts, it may add slightly to the vibration. I don't want any vibration.

Idk shit about cars but ik that if you drive Long enough with bad motor mounts, it could damage other parts of your car. Also it’s important to change the transmission mount as well because when one is bad, the other usually isn’t far behind.

I tried replacing my cv axle passenger side it wouldn't go in for shit motor mounts look trashed my mechanic said mounts probably the reason what you think?

Yes probably because the engine is a a slight angle now

You didn't need to move the engine (with a pry bar) to make the bolts line up? Mine are way off and it is difficult to move engine(it keeps springing back before I can put bolts in) Any suggestions?

Yea buddy put that wooden block under the engine and jack it up a bit!!!

I had the same problem realigning the bolt holes I took out the top two engine mount bolts and loosened the transmission mount bolts some to be able to slide the engine back to align the motor mount bolts

I’ve done this a few times now. To get the holes aligned back properly, you need to use a second Jack under the transmission pan to help level it out better. It also makes talking the thing out easier too. Just do reverse for install.

It's Hard to believe that you didn't show the most difficult part.. getting the mount to line up with the frame as you lower the engine. Maybe I missed it idk

The easiest part buddy all you need to do is lower it slowly and the mount had studs that line up
