Starscream_xxx caring too much about it is cringier. If a guy is happy then he has every right to be as “cringeworthy” as he wants to. Cringing counts if you take something too seriously like when you’re a passionate singer but you aren’t aware that you sing horribly, but if you are well aware that you are a horrible singer and you sing nontheless for the sake of fun and happiness then being cringe is irrelevant. @@AMS97PS3 Probably one of those people who keep saying that Vettel never won a race from lower than 3rd when he just always literally smashed it in Qualifying when he had a good car. And even when not, he always came close to it, finishing on the podium. E.g Abu Dhabi 2012, Germany 2019 or Hungary '21.

Watching this after his retirement announcement is a complete different feel. I was fortunate enough to see Seb win the 2013 Indian GP and seeing him bow down to the car made me fall in love with F1. I am sad to see him go but more happy to have experienced F1 with Seb.

@@smilingbark8077 Anyone not hating on Mercedes dominance in the Hybrid era anyone. Not that I hate Mercedes or Hamilton by any fact but you know. If a driver and team dominated for 4 straight seasons and then you get a team which in 2010 was unthinkable. Who went on to win more than double in terms of WCC and 7 of the last 9 WDC. I mean it takes a lot of effort, skill and dedication to do that but yeah I thought I would point that out.

They replaced Minardi but were a more competitive team than their predecessors who often had eg. V8 vs V10 engines. The real Minardi could never have won a race unless in the most bizarre circumstances. This was a combination of a better car and sheer talent of Vettel.

I was watching this live in 2008 and I'm not afraid to say this might be the most surprising win in the 21st century. The way Vettel, a young and inexperienced driver, drove that Toro Rosso, a rather unremarkable car which shouldn't have been anywhere near victory...and let's keep in mind that Sebastian was still practically a no-name driver, a promising young talent but the midfielders such as Toro Rosso couldn't even dream of victories during those seasons...and yet it happened.

In 2008, the midfield was reasonably close behind the likes of McLaren and Ferrari i.e. 1 second or less off, now it's about double that. Vettel would've had no chance in today's Force India or Renault, maybe not even a podium.

It's crazy to think that at that day, Seb's teammate Bourdais qualified 4th, indicating that the track really suited Toro Rosso. If only Bourdais could get the car started on time, he might have a chance of podium here as well, making it a Toro Rosso double podium

LOL. Sebastian Bourdais was 4th and he's not even in F1 right now. Toro Rosso had same chassis with RBR that year. Nothing impressive. If his teammate was 10th and he was 1st then you could say "god".
