Just bought a 2007 model recently with 117000 km for half that sticker price. I was able to buy a 5 year warranty as well. Fantastic value and superb to drive. Drives like a new car. Cheaper than a used Kluger with the same mileage. Averaging 10 litres per 100km at the moment.

Cassette is another option to hook up your phone to audio instead of offering the obvous, bluetooth. Like the no push to start. The latter is offered on japan models for japan.

My aunt actually had one of these, but she traded it in for a 2012 Lexus RX350 , and then she bought a 2013 Honda Accord, but she did keep the lexus.

I'd rather have cassette deck in car than cd if there's no aux connection or bluetooth. With cassette-adapter i can connect my phone or tablet to a car stereo and listen music from youtube or other sources.

These rx 400h's do NOT have CVT transmissions. They have synergy drive. Electric magnet motors drive the vehicle, no gears and certainly no belt or band.

Thanks for that comment. I have a 2006 RX400h and I'm always having to explain to people that it's not a CVT transmission. It works more on the concept of a planetary gear system.

Just took purchase of a 2007 400h. Comfortable, quiet, & smooth? Yes. Gas mileage claims are exaggerated. Also a bit clumsy off road. This vehicle is ladened with high tech stuff much too complicated & slow to use while driving. My manual suggests replacing the navigation disc annually ( a.$200. hit ) Wow! Also be prepared to wait 15 minutes in colder temps for the mist to clear off the windows. My old Corolla worked much better.

I DON T UNDERSTAND PEOLE CLIMB IN CAR AND TALKING WHILE DOOR IS OPEN. IT S SO LOUD. THAT LET THE MOTOR STARTED AND TALK NEAR THE LOUD MOTOR. SO THIS VIDEO IS A BIG SHIT UP TO THE END.
