been looking for a video like this! have a question though i am unable to take throttle body off because previous owner striped a bolt in the back corner and therefore i am unable to take off the EGR pipe where it connects to the intake manifold. is it still possible that i can remove the mani?

The throttle body has to come off. It's in the way of the fuel rail cover. You got to get that bolt off some how that's stripped. Let me know how it comes out👍

Is there a way to paint it without removing it, Just painted my valve cover, and this is a whole lot more than that, but I want it to look better than it does rn

You could paint it without taking the manifold off. Probably won't look as good if you took it off but, Tape off everywhere with plastic wrap and paint away👍

Hey man have a question, for the power steering pump. Is there only the two top bolts on it or is there bolt below that I'm not seeing? Currently at a stand still because I can't move the power steering pump over to get to the last intake manifold bolt

Hey there, yes you have to loosen the bottom bolt on the power steering pump just a little so you can wiggle the pump to the left out of the way to get to the bolt holding the intake manifold

@@kylewomack6259 I ended up getting that bolt the next day after spraying it with pb blaster and letting it sit over night. If I kept going at it the same day, I would have thrown a wrench through the windshield lol. Appreciate the help bro!

Old comment thread, but does anybody mind helping me find the bolt actually is? Cannot find it visually or with a socket down underneath the pump

@@LucasCram44 stick your cell phone down there and snap a picture. That's what I did and it help me visualized where I needed to put the socket when taking it out

Hey what is that black/blue box ontop the the intake manifold right in the middle?

Hey Jules FN The box is part of the wiring system. It bolts on top of the manifold, I have a rag underneath it to lift it up out of the way so I can work on the manifold. Helpful?

It’s the housing for the vtcs. It basically controls those bitterly flaps inside the manifold. To be completely honest if you take off your manifold unscrew those and take that box off. Then get a tune for the vtcs delete. More air= more power
