Had one of these for a few years it cracked its engine block at 100000miles common issue apparently with the 2.4 but not the 2.0 shame was a good car till then.

​@@JohnnyMQB yeah - they had a problem with old revision short blocks in 2008 and 2009. After 2010 model year they have change the block (it was reinforced), the new part number is 1120078K02X12. I have a 2008 3d 2.4 (j24b) with 4-automatic transmission - and i had a same block issue on 256000 km. So, after block is failed a bought a new short block and make an engine repair.

Don't keep your hand continiously placed on the shifting poke, because it will do damage to some small but important parts in the gearing box. Things not learned during driving lessons, but by experience.

"Dragy Acceleration Joe (0-100 km/h): 13,8 s" - it's so strange for me. I thought that 3d 2.4 version with manual transmission will be faster, than mine same 3d 2.4, but with 4-automatic transmission. I am running 235/70/16 all terrain tires (a bit bigger that stock 225/70/16) and mine average result 0-100 is about 11.7-12.1 sec, depends on road condition and temp. I am using race logic (gps) to calculate the 0-100 time. Perhaps this one model has some problems with engine?
