You just saved me. I got the same issue you had. I decided to cover the spots with towels before raining. I may have to cover the drains with silicone like you suggested.

There’s a guy who posted a video about this, but have you checked behind the bumper? There’s some holes that allow water into the car and the guy bought some rubber plugs to fix them.

Since I put silicone on the taillights, there hasn't been any issues. Never thought about the bumper though.

My cousin having the same issue and All I did I open the back bumper with out the Tail Light. I saw a big hole that the Rubber silicone came off. All I have to do is put another one in that I bought from Advance Auto Parts and I make sure I put some liquid super Glue in to it too. So it doesn’t come off again he doesn’t have to change the battery again too 😮💨. I hope that helps too

2 holes behind bumper that are not plugged from factory. That’s where it gets in. I put flex tape over it.

Someone else has said that too. Good find

Thank you for the Video. I know you found the root cause of the water coming in and cleaned all the water up. What did you do to actually fix it? Just vacuumed the water out?

If I would have found the leak the first time, yes, but it got wet again and again before I found it. I had to replace the relays inside the battery container.
