I have the manual version....here because one side open easy after replacing handle, other side won’t open at all. Figuring a cable broke and it’s stuck. I recall and will now examine the track more closely that the plastic door place where it meets is broken. I bet mine is dropping a bit as well. 225000 miles...family of eight so it has been used well.

I'm looking at a 2007 Sienna. Drivers side sliding door doesn't work. Is it possible to make it a straight manual door? Just remove the cable and assembly. About all I'd want to keep would be the locking mechanism.

Yes it's possible. First remove all the cancelling then unplug the motor on the door you want disabled. Give that a try.
