Is it consistent resistance throughout the whole rotation of the wheel? Does speed help?

@@bobbaker8715 when speed helps it’s usually your power steering. I’d be looking at your power steering fluid levels as well as the pump

Hey thanks for the video. I replaced my intermediate steering shaft (2011 F150) but after driving it 15-20 min--and thinking all was good, turns out it is still binding. Seems to be happening both at slow and faster speeds.Any ideas? Thanks

I would say it wasn’t noticeable if it did. The true test is just hitting it with some rust penetrant on the u joints of the shaft.

why didnt you remove the coolant resesvoir to make a litle bit more room

The upper bolt is easy to access, the lower bolt is the difficult one. I don’t think that would have helped. On the lower one.
