This is the high beam on my car, not the location but the fixture. The low beam just twists out and replaces the same way. And the bulb is h11b. I drive a 2009 sonota. There must be some differences between the years, because this is the complete opposite for me. My high beams have that bracket, not my low beams.

Yes in some model Sonata, the headlight system changes a bit, you probably have the other style

yes, i would disconnect the negative battery terminal

I’m getting two different answers for what model bulb to buy for the low beam headlight for a 2010 Sonata. H7 and H11? It seems to depend on which website you visit, O’Reilly Auto Parts says it’s an H11 while most other websites say it’s an H7? Tomorrow I’ll remove the bulb and update which one it actually is.

@@hallbillyskilly Turns out the headlight model was changed during production. Later 2010 Sonata’s required a low beam titled H11B. You need to look at what’s in your car to determine which one your Sonata needs. Kinda crazy.
