2009 - 2015 VW Tiguan Amp and Sub Install

Watch a full tutorial as a 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan will have a 12" Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and CT Sounds amplifier installed. We will be using the stock radio and integrating it with a line-out converter providing signal to the amplifier without use of an aftermarket radio.
This video applies to VW Tiguan models for years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. This video also includes dash trim removal, complete amplifier wiring instructions, complete installation, and testing.

Why does everyone always remove the head unit! You already had the wires exposes at the door post. Just tap into them there. Easier access and less length of wire to run!

But where is the grommet hole where it pops out by the battery? Did I miss that part? I just see a wire coming out from a mystery area.

Hello, thank you for your vidéo. I have a question. Where do you put your Remote ? Because you don’t explain or i don’t understand where you put in the vw connectic your remote. Do you have the color of this ?

Where did you get your remote signal? From the head unit or some place else

From the line out converter. It produces one for us.
