Great instructional video, thanks! Instead of removing the brake/rotor assembling can you not just remove the inner lower a-arm bolts, tie rod, sway bar then lower and remove the strut that way? Thanks 😊

You can fit 33" tires fine on a stock F150. The question is will this give clearance for a 35" tire? That is the whole point of these lifts from what i understand. Please correct me if I am wrong?

35s would for sure fit on an F150 with this lift, there may just be some rubbing on sharp turns depending on your wheel's offset and how wide your tires are. -Zach

Do you have a 2wd instead of the 4WD? If so there’s a pretty decent difference in that process.

Btw/ here’s an update for ya- I took all that off after it ruined the upper control arm, lower ball joint, tie rod ends, sway bar linkage and broke both springs - make sure you do your homework before you start modifying your truck

I went with a 2” Rough Country lift on my 2012 Ford F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x4. It was professionally installed and have no issues thus far. I have 20" Fuel Assault Wheels with 295/55/R20 Nitto Recons about to go on it. You'll see a lot of 2WDs in the West. I can't imagine having a truck without 4WD either but they are pretty common elsewhere in the World.

Can someone please let me know why my rough country 2 inch leveling spacers are only 1 3/8 inches. The paper work says 2 inches but it's not . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem with leveling kits is that once you put them in you'll want to go higher. You might as well go right to a 6 inch lift and be done with it!

@@Peter-wl3tm aftermarket control arms designed to account for the angles that come with certain lift heights. A basic 2" front level is about as much as you can do without causing long term stress on the joints.

You are not putting any extra stress on the uppers by adding 2 inches, especially on a Ford.. you would need to go beyond 3.5 inches of lift to need any aftermarket upgrades to the upper control arm 😅😂 that's not only from Ford as well as me a Ford mechanic and even rough country knows the deal. Look into the kits they sell..... anything 3.5 and above get the proper hardware for the new angles. Looks great and provides far superior quality and performance from the stock application. Tell everyone you don't know what you're talking about without actually telling them that 😂 everyone knows everything these days.
