Just had this issue no dash, power or remote locks, start etc.. I tried the fuse that was suggested but it was fine, put a little dielectric silicone grease on the fuse blades and everything working. I will tighten up the pin when I get the chance for a permanent fix

Good evening my friend and nice to meet you! My vehicle (2003 Dodge Caravan Se V6 3.3) is giving me a (P0201-Injector Circuit/Open Cylinder 1) code and i have a (2003 POWERTRAIN DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES book for town & country, caravan and voyager) that shows on page 88-89 test procedures to follow and apply. So far i have applied (test 1) and (test 2) and im on (test 3) now and im stuck on not being able to follow and apply it cause im not grasping and understanding it at all. This is test 3 Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the Fuel Injector harness connector. Remove the ASD Relay from the IPM. Turn the ignition on. Jumper the Fused B+ circuit and the ASD Relay Output circuit in the IPM. (This part im lost) Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the (K342) ASD Relay Output circuit. Does the test light illuminate brightly? Yes Go To 4 No Repair the open in the (K342) ASD Relay Output circuit. Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER-5. This is a video of me following and applying (test 2-kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJPdgn6vnrOqmaM) and in that video it shows the pages in the book from page 88-89 and pages 312-314 for code (P0201-Injector Circuit/Open Cylinder 1). Are you able to please make a video showing me how to perform all of these test procedures so it can help me grasp and understand to where im able to apply the test procedures from all those pages?

My 2007 dodge grand caravan sxt went completely dead this morning and then all the power came back as though nothing was wrong. I drove it back home,I turned it off and got out the van,then I decided to try to start it again and it would not start but a few minutes later it started again. What could possibly be the problem? It never cut off while I was driving.

I have a 2005 Caravan with 24L that occasionally just is dead, won't crank, cluster goes dead. Clicks. Any ideas. Mind you I did recently install a new starter from Advance Auto.

1997 dodge caravan sometimes engine dies while going 65 or 70 mph for 10 or 15 sec and fires back up intermittently sometimes no problem any ideas

We're having the same problem. The dealership didn't know how to fix. They drove it for miles, but the car didn't die out once. It's worse in cold weather. Does anyone know of a mechanic near Grand Rapids who can fix it.?

My 2001 Chrysler town & country has ran great no signs of stalling but just randomly shut off put it in neutral while rolling no start pulled it over thought it was no gas because the gauge is inaccurate put a gallon of gas in it because that’s all the can could hold still wouldn’t start had to get it towed , hired a guy for a diagnostic car only had one code on his obd ll reader but on mines it had two p0135 -p1193 put another gallon in it then she started up was able to drive to the gas stain and fill up the tank it started with no problem after that once I got home and came back out side to run some errands it started doing the same thing , but after like 8 attempts I was able to get it started drive half way across town but it stalled and act as if it had no gas every time I put my foot on the gas but if I let off the pedal it would smoothing back out until it dies again is there any tips at all you might can give me I am not made of money and need to be able to get around with my kid

There's a recall for the ignition switch for this issue. As of this date it's still valid to take in to the dealership to repair free of charge.

I have a vw routan 3.8l it cluster would act weird like reset it stalled on me like 2 times bought a new alternator like 2 months ago went to install it disconnected battery didn't have the tools to do the job right reconnected battery ever since then it's been fine which was weird

So did this fix the problem permanently? I have a mechanic working on my van and they changed the EGR valve and van still shuts off. Got stuck in Kentucky about 4 years ago and Dodge dealership changed out crank sensor...still been shutting off for these next 4 years. Getting good at putting it in neutral and cranking real quick. Does Dodge not know what the remedy is? They know they have a problem, but can't take the time to find the problem? Doesn't make sense. Any advice?

I have a 2010 and mine turns off when I'm driving like when I slow down and try to make a turn or when I am just sitting with car on. It starts back up no problem no engine lights or anything come on but it does smell like something is burning randomly I keep up on oil changes just confused on what to do and nervous about spending alot of money on it

I fixed ours but just trading in the damn thing in... It was a great van with plenty of power and great to drive but always felt like every time we went for a trip in it the check engine light would come on or would stall or it wouldn't start and I was sick and tired of dealing with it.

Hi im confused on the wire ur basicly bypasing ... um ur hooking it to a ground and van works great so i mean its not a positive wire its a bad ground wire?

Ok so the wire you ran from inside car to the front of car You hooked it to the olm meter red then black wire of meter to ground sorry im slow

I have a 2003 and it does the same thing and the dash lights do not come on. Nothing will turn on. Then it randomly comes back on, there’s no specific time frame when it will come back on. Could be seconds, could be over an hour. Shuts off while idling and driving at random speeds. Sometimes while driving at faster speed 45+, it will try to shut off but then immediately come back on. It happens so fast that I don’t even have time to take my foot off the gas and I hear the engine rev when it comes back on, as if it’s in neutral... but then continues on down the road like normal. These could be 2 separate issues or the same, I have no idea. 😕 just bought it used a month ago, to transport my 3 kids. Can’t be stranded and it’s being currently being looked at. If this seems like the same issue I’d like to share your video with the mechanic
