Muriatic acid and a hone will clean that cylinder sleeve up, did it with my 503 when she melted down about the same way, you can drop the hole cyl in the acid in a ice cream bucket, itll eat the aluminum away might get lucky and it might not have much scoring.

i have used muriatic acid to clean aluminum out of cylinders before but the next video will show that this machine has no oil pump cable so it was running with VERY minimal oil and that combined with not getting any cool air from the fan due to not having a shroud. so that cylinder is in very rough shape even if i get that blob out.

Those heads on the block don’t look stock,unless the motor has been totally replaced? Maybe it looks different because the shroud is not on it?

They are oem style but one of them was replaced when the previous owner “rebuilt” it about 100 km before i got my hands on it

i have a 2009 ski doo gsx 550f it sems to be running on 1 cylinder i swapped the coil (calibrated module) and still same ..i have verified that the plugs themselves are good and wires are good ..i guess only other thing would be stator ..asking for advice thank you in advance

Have you checked compression to verify that you have good compression in both sides
