2009 Mercedes-Benz W204 C200 Part 28 - COMAND scroll wheel repair

I've had this problem since I bought the car but I only became aware of it once I'd watched a video on the ‪@sprautos‬ channel (Part 4 of their C63 AMG series). The shaft for the scroll wheel (similar to BMW's iDrive) is made of plastic and is prone to breaking. Fortnately, there is a cheap fix in the shape of a replacement metal shaft. These can be found cheaply on eBay and Amazon so I ordered one and I thought I would show how I was able to repair it. I know there are plenty of other such vidoes on KZbin but I document the repairs I make hence this video. The repair was completed without a single problem and the scroll wheel is now fully working as Mercedes intended.
