I just bought a pair of black ones for my purple Kink Titan 2. Going to use them with 2.4 tan Odyssey tires. I figured i would deal with/ponder the issue of mounting them when they came in, but this popped up in my recommendations. Great work brotha!

Dig the bike. Is it an aluminum frame? I have one and it looks a lot like your friend's. So the rear gear is threaded into the wheel hub? I had no idea.

So when did Skyway switch to plastic hubs for the Tuff ll wheels? ! ? Back in my day they had metal hubs and the Tuff wheel 1 had the plastic hubs 🤔🤯

They do make them today with the silver alloy flange, about $100 more if that is what you want!

Great video. I purchased some 6 spoke mags off Ebay. I ordered these same Mission tires in white...only to realize after the fact, "f**k, will they fit." I was quite nervous as I'm just getting back into BMX. Oh how things have changed since the 80's & 90's. I want to use the mags (with these Mission tires) on a 1999-2000 GT DYNO Compe. I know now I should be able to mount the tires on the rims...but will it fit the bike, I HOPE SO !

it will be snug, the biggest challenge is the brakes! Take your time and think it through and it should be fine!

@@apexbmx5852 thank you for the response. I appreciate it and thanks again for the video . I've got some Odyssey 1999 brakes that I'd like to use. Really hoping I can make this all work . It would be a shame if I couldn't (money spent!). I'll most definitely take my time. I saw a video that said to take it slow and steady and give the tires a roll to help everything get seated properly.

@@apexbmx5852 did you have any issues with the inflation of the tires ? I believe these need like 100 PSI and from what I read online the Skyways like 40 PSI .

I just orderd tuff 2 foe my mongoose ira the 9th edtion as I'm running new gemotry however mechanic said he needs to give down the meter hooks that slide in frame as they are thick for my frame he did this to my last pair of rims

did you buy 3/8ths axles or 15mm? I don’t suggest grinding your drop outs, that will ruin the value of the frame.
