@investor27 I live in Canada, Only stupid city people drive AWD's, think the need them to drive on plowed and salted highways to go skiing. People in the country drive FWD cars, good set of winter tires is alll you need. Only need AWD or 4WD in the worst snowstorms, then you really shouldnt be out driving anyway.

I just got the JSW 2009 TDI I love it The A4 Avant costs 10k more and isn't worth it for me personally.

I want a Sportwagen TDI DSG BAD! The Subaru Outback Diesel is nice, but won't be in the USA anytime soon. Too bad!

No sunroof at VW Please ! It leak 14 years at my 2002 volkswagen jetta wagon ; user say the tube shortage 1.5 inch case that ! After force by court ; official fixed it BUT still leak after every rain and snow until today ( 99.5%german make and 5% Canada) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;; ( If that case at your NEW VW ;request to change carpet and after few time at a same problem and cannot soft ; PUT IT LEMONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Up to 41 MPG on the highway?!?! Really? You know that is on the low end. Think about what you say next time. VW.com has a section of their website devoted to MPG wars where people post their MPG scores. Some most scores are in the 60's but a few are in the 70's and 80's. The TDI is the only way to go.
